In order to promote academic exchanges, expand the international research vision of postgraduates, and establish good international cooperation, the International Postgraduates Seminar on Refractories was launched in 2018. The seminar has been successfully held for seven consecutive years, which has attracted extensive attention from international universities/institutes and has become an important activity for international academic exchanges in the refractory field.

This year, the Postgraduates Seminar will be held again in the form of an online meeting. Excitingly, the seminar will award Best Oral Presentation Prizes sponsored by the Federation for International Refractory Research and Education (FIRE) including one First Prize, two Second Prizes, and three Third Prizes.

The postgraduates are invited to make research presentations. For those who are interested, please use the email as the registration account and login for the abstract submission on the seminar’s website: http://ipsr.wust.edu.cn/. If the participant has already registered in previous years, the same account can still be used for login. If the account is forgotten, please retrieve it step by step following the instructions.

Participants can choose to submit an oral presentation, English posters, or both and are requested to submit their contributions to the website as soon as possible or send their abstract form or English poster (PPT format) to the Secretariat of the seminar by email: htm-liningtech@wust.edu.cn.

The deadline for abstract submission is September 12, 2025.

Please see the seminar website for the format requirements. The official language of the seminar is English, and please prepare the English PPT accordingly. The oral presentation is scheduled for 20 minutes for each, including the presentation and Q&A.
