ECerS-FIRE Summer School Dresden
The ECerS-FIRE Summer School "Mining the future of refractories and high temperature materials: the impact of sustainability, AI, computing tools and advanced techniques" will be co-organized by ECerS and FIRE at the Fraunhofer Institute for Ceramic Technologies and Systems IKTS, Dresden, Germany, the week before the next ECerS conference, from Thursday 28 to Friday 29 August 2025.

In a funny way, my own career also began around “fire,” just a far more engineered version of it. I first heard about FIRE during my Master’s in São Carlos, Brazil, thanks to Prof. Pandolfelli. I joined without imagining that this decision would quietly shape my entire professional path.
